With me for lunch last week were Ms. Karen, Ms. Sue, and Ms. Marcia. Always gratifying to dine with the ladies. Once seated and our drinks ordered, we had a chance to look.

In broad daylight, Jax doesn’t look like much. I know that some of the reviews on Yelp and TripAdvsior referred to the intimate as “trendy” but Jax is located in a strip mall and appeared to be one procedure up from the ubiquitous Tucson greasy spoon.

Ms. Marcia said that she had been to Jax for dinner once and the ambiance at unendingly is much nicer: dimmed lights and lots of candles. I could imagine how that could be an gain. Otherwise the place is fairly sterile. I mean, along North Oracle, there are many frail restaurants, such as Wildflower, with much more interesting interiors. Jax just lacks mind's eye. An inventive restaurant owner can take a plane open space and turn it into something resplendent, like Elvira’s in Tubac.

Westchester and New York indian restaurant reviews: Masala Kraft

Masala Kraft is a strictly vegetarian restaurant in Hartsdale, and on the afternoon of Origin’s Day we were there with our old friends A&U, sans our children, who have now reached the age where their heterogeneous engagements, keep them fruitfully spoken for, away from their parents. About a year old, it is in the miserly downtown Hartsdale neighborhood, nearly the succession install and to some facing Azuma Sushi, with a commodious parking lot in the backside. It is a stingy café like place, with up to date décor, yellow walls, simulated tables built up with a thick polyurethaned drink up, and a piece where you can your non-functional, after which the foodstuffs is brought to you. We started off with Bhel Puri and Papdi Palaver—town row grub now conscripted into appetizer utility, that is kind of mutual in Westchester Indian restaurants today....
