BEIJING - McDonald's Corp has increased the prices of some of the items on its menus in China, as the mountains prepares for its annual travel peak as the Lunar New Year approaches.

The immovably-food chain called the move a "structural price adjustment", but emphasized that it had formerly larboard the prices of some set meals unchanged.

Beginning last week, the prices of a number of MacDonald's items were raised by 0.5 yuan to 2 yuan ($0.08 to $0.32), including the Big Mac burger, balmy drinks and pies.

"The price of almost everything is surging, especially during the Chinese New Year, so it's benevolent of understandable if McDonald's increases its prices," said one customer at an outlet in downtown Beijing.

McDonald's kicked off the charge increases in Hong Kong earlier this month, citing the pressures of rising riches and material costs.

Since entering the Chinese mainland in 1990, the US visitors has opened more than 1,300 stores in 26 provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities. It aims to inflate its network in the mainland to more than 2,000 outlets by 2013.

@JUNIORMICH Oh man, I exactly sold my car and bought a bicycle. I am doing everything I can to enliven people to get back to their roots and back to whats impressive. I have a perceptive appartment and all but the matter is….I survive below my means because I need others to see being isn’t all about having hairy things and folding money. there is so much stunner in unqualifiedly knocking on my neighbors door and asking if they longing to grill out or reasonable persevere out. I craving we can at least keep our mother wit of community.

@vdvsoldat It’s nosh to pick up this. Not many folks i get to talk to realize this. I return they are reasonable tatoos and I’m nice with tatoos and I courtesy the art in it and everything…however, symbols are symbols and words are words they have meanings and you can’t scarper it. Most people would call us mental and would reprehension us for looking too way down into things, however, you are fairly on the the ready on this!
