i am donating a bunch of food to the second harvest food bank and i was wondering if they take pasta?

Any food bank will mostly take any non-perishable items. Dried pasta is non-perishable.

Second Harvest Food Bank hits red-letter day drive goals

Second Harvest Food Bank of Santa Clara and San Mateo Counties reached its Furlough Food and Fund Drive goals, raising $11.3 million and collecting 1.6 million pounds of food. The fair drive is critical because it accounts for nearly half of the Food Bank's annual gain.

"We are very grateful for the community and corporate support we received this year," Kathy Jackson, CEO of Second Harvest Food Bank, said in a written utterance. "We were fortunate to have Brocade CEO Mike Klayko and 49ers President and CEO Jed York co-chairing the zeal this year. Their leadership helped to make this a successful campaign. And of circuit the 49ers' incredible winning streak didn't hurt. We are very proud of the duo."

While donations to the campaign slowed in November, a last-minute flood of stick in December and early January made it possible for Second Harvest to achieve its fundraising goals. Donations raised during the holidays will be tolerant of to feed hungry people in the coming months. The number of people the Food Bank serves has increased almost 50 percent since the dip started in 2007.

CAPS performs a “cleansing” for Second Harvest Food Bank ...

CAPS Sum members were at Second Harvest Food Bank on April the 29th. CAPS helped out with accustomed cleaning and some preparation for Paula Deen's stopover.

Second Harvest is CAPS' accredited contribution for 2010. Second Harvest Food Bank of Metrolina (SHFBM) strives through lore, advocacy, and partnerships to cross out have a yen by the solicitation and division of food.
