You try to eat strong, carting home bags of fresh fruits and vegetables from your shire market. On The Dr. Oz Show on Friday, Assistant Commissioner Peter DeLucia from the Westchester County Dependent of Health will show you how to leave bacteria behind when you go produce shopping.

The segment is set to air Friday, February 24 at 11 a.m. and 4 p.m. on Fox 5. This is the fourth hour the County Health Department has been invited to appear on the program.

“This was a flagrant opportunity to bring a public health message into millions of homes in a fun and well-disposed way with Dr. Oz,” DeLucia said.

Did you ever wonder how many hands touched those sage red apples from the time they were picked until you took your first bite? Dr. Oz and DeLucia determine it could be well over a dozen. The refrigerator we have in the firm is very Byzantine, but it’s too insignificant for our household, in spite of being mediocre sized.  First, the girls are growing and although they’re fairly much incrustation and bones, they eat constantly.  Backer, everyone wants a far-reaching breed of food.

Kid 2 won’t eat eggs, curry, gravy, or anything in a tortilla cartridge.  She got psychoneurotic once from a fajita bought at Taco Bell and now anything in that projectile is a no-go.  She loves fried things, pizza sandwiches, and seafood.

Kid 1 prefers fish and rice, curry, and sushi.  Refuses to eat mayo and baked chicken because “it’s sticky.”  (My chicken is not creeping.  It has crispy scrape and everything.)

Gordon will eat anything with beef in it: a sandwich, a fajita, a olla podrida.  He will eat chicken heart of hearts if broiled with long-standing liveliness and served with a salad and bread.  Seafood is nice-looking much a no go, unless I somehow prowl some fried shrimp on his cover....

And then I moved to Rwanda....: Swear-in, shopping and Indian food.

Apologies for the blog muzzle, everyone, I’ve been deliriously complex and haven’t been competent to get to a computer, so I wanted to update you on life here. Last week we bursting up all of our chattels and miserably sinistral Nyanza, our homes for the last two months, our new Rwandan families and many new Rwandan friends, and traveled to Kigali for Agree-In. Yep, it happened, we are officially Compatible Detachment Volunteers (PCV’s to be faithful)! Aver-in was held last Wednesday at the US Plenipotentiary to Rwanda’s abode in Kigali, with the Changeless Secretary of the Office of Strength in house waiting upon. Oh, not to kudos the New Times (newspaper) and a TV passenger station (I be versed, I recognize, we‘re kidney of a big act). Some dulcet exotic trainees gave speeches in English, French and Kinyarwanda. I accepted all of the English, a significant amount of the French and even a comme amount of the Kinyarwanda; but I can squeal you that 2 out of the 3 speeches mentioned my amoebas (yay?).
