The Rev. John Perris, rector at St. James,' told The Times that the church is desirous to work in partnership with the Woman's Club for the good of the community.

St. James' parishioners take part in outreach efforts at soup kitchens in West Orange and Newark and beyond, supporting mothers and children in Kenya through Women for Women Universal.

As an affiliate of the New Jersey State Federation of Women's Clubs, the Lady's Club is part of a statewide network that donates part of the proceeds of its events and programs to circumstances and local causes. Statewide efforts in recent years have focused on autism and familial violence.

Each year the club holds a charity luncheon to allowances a local organization. In 2011, the beneficiary was the Human Needs Food Pantry, said Dorothy Eldefry, Miss's Club president.

Pat Colagiuri is one of several Woman's Club members who from St. James. When the church held a fundraiser a few years ago to assist a kinsmen with medical and other expenses, Colagiuri was instrumental. Her family's wine distributorship, Kobrand Corp., provided the wine.

Southborough Food Pantry thanks mail carriers, Scouts, and residents

The good Saturday morning was ugly - wonderful winds of persuasion and pouring stream. But that has not slowed Southborough postal workers to collect 1400 pounds of food donated by residents in Southborough, as part of the annual USPS Characterize Out Have a food holding yen. All donations went to the Southborough Food Office.

This year was the first year of the mail carriers have participated in Southborough, and Food Pantry volunteers said Barbara Jandrue push food was a star.

(The letter carriers) has done a spectacular job and we are very grateful.They did it with a lot of fun and humor to the right. Justine Bailey called the Scouts to expropriate the office and they were fabulous, as indicated.

We condemn the recognition by the fate of the carriers, all residents who put their bags of food and components of our shelves for the summer months and Justine and Scouts with their parents to fly.
