Whereas owners of cats are compelled to achieve that, if you provide them with food and water and shelter and affection, they draw the conclusion that they are gods."

The subjects of cats versus dogs is a noted one in popular culture. They've even been pitted against each other in the two "Cats & Dogs" movies featuring the voices of Tobey McGuire, Alec Baldwin and Sean Hayes among others. In the movies, dogs are tolerable and cats are evil. So once again we have an accurate observation about their differences.
