USDA Expands Food Program for At-Risk Kids « Political News and ...

In a period where studies show privately numbers of children don’t have access to nutritive food, a federal program has been expanded to stipulate more meals.

The U.S. Control of Agriculture program that offers reimbursements for meals provided to at-hazard maid during after-high school programs has been expanded to count Vermont, which now makes it elbow in 13 states and Washington D.C.

About 49,000 children around the fatherland forward from the programs every day, the Associated Beg reported . USDA officials say the program is expected to price $8 million from 2009 to 2013.
